Loudest voice in the cave

You can call it inspiration, that little inside voice,
an idea trapped inside your head.
This poem is about that voice.

It hunts you in your sleep
It hunts you when you're awake.
Doubt comes along with it
Your thoughts cannot escape.

A constant whisper in your ear
An itching wound without heal.
It pushes you to act, despite of fear
It tells you to go further, and you kneel.

You can't give it a reason
you can only curse the fate.
Try to  put it aside, it won't fade
As long as unfinished, it won't give you a break.

Don't bother nor long chances
Neither what others say.
Doing the unusual has never been safe
But
that's the loudest voice in the cave.
